ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE |
| |
Energy Performance Certificate according to the EPCMA (Energy Performance
Certificate Master Act of 2006)
|
Due to rising energy costs and the necessity of reducing emissions from buildings, a
focus on energy consumption is increasingly important. There
are various factors that influence this, including the geometry and configuration of the building
shell, as well as the technical equipment. We examine both existing and planned
properties with regard to these impacts, with the aim of classifying the status quo on
the basis of reference values, and proposing measures to effectively improve the
energetic efficiency factor. |
| - |
Produced according to legal requirements, the KS Energy Performance Certificate is a
detailed and systematic analysis of immovable property with regard to the shell
surface, building alignment, essential shell profiles and façade openings.
The heating systems and, in the case of office buildings, also the ventilation systems,
air-conditioning, artificial lighting, and the EDP are included in this assessment.
A compendium of renovation concepts designed to improve efficiency is an inherent part
of the Energy Performance Certificate. |
| - |
The KS Energy Consulation consists of three modules; energy analysis, energy monitoring, and
energy optimisation. The focal points of any efficiency improvements listed in the energy
performance certificate are examined step by step and the results are used as a basis
for the formulation of concepts for a sustainable renovation that adds value. |
